The anatomical and functional capabilities of eBonz models are best illustrated through video and user interfaces
Anatomical model
Starting with the generic anatomical model you will be guided through the process of building a body from individual components. Bones are first laid down and ligaments and menisci added in to secure the joints. Muscles are then added followed by fat and finally the skin. These components complete the lower body model.
Model creation
When patient data is provided in the form of CT or MRI scans, we can develop subject-specific anatomical models. Depending on the complexity required, each individual component can be customised to the patient.
Gait analysis
To add in functionality to the models, data can be provided in the form of clinical gait data or experimental measurements. Once data is obtained, a customised functional model is created.
Contact pressures
When external forces are measured, internal contact pressures can be simulated. Changes in these can be visualised with changes in varus/valgus angle and weight of a subject.
Device modeling
Finally, external devices can be modeled and interaction with anatomical models can be simulated.
CAD support
External CAD models can be incorporated into eBonz anatomical models to assess function and fit.
