Device Modeling

CAD models of medical devices can be incorporated into our modeling environment so that the interaction between devices and the models can be simulated. This movie illustrates how the soft tissues are deformed when a knee brace is tightened around the leg. These devices are not only limited to external braces but could include prosthetic joints, for example.
